Copper(II) sulfate
-Copper(II) sulfate is a chemical compound.
-It takes the form of white rhombohedral crystals or amorphous powder.
-At 650 derees celcius it decomposes to cupric oxide(CuO?).
-It is fairly soluble in water and when dissolved it forms the pentahydrate, CuSO4?* 5H2O.
-This pentahydrate can be collected as blue triclinic crystals, aka blue vitriol.
-It is used in copperplating, dyeing, wet-cell batteries, in pigments among other things.
-It is insoluble in alkali solutions
