Demonstration of Zeroing Out a Balance

      -Put one hand on the stem of the balance and the other on the foot of the balance.
     1.) Make sure all the weights are all the way to the left of the balance.
2.) Look to see where the line of the balance is.
3.) Turn the knob until the line lines up with the zero on the right side of the balance.

     -Turn the knob away from you to make the balance go up.
-Turn the knob towards you to make the balance go down.
-Be careful to make sure the tray is not sticking to the bottom of the balance.
