You will be using the 4 sides of a Manilla folder.

Side 1 (General Information)
1) Name of people in the Group
2) Period

3) Answer the following questions:
a) What is the phase <nowiki>Mr. McLeod</nowiki> makes you memorize to remember what is in "bucket" when equilibrium is established.

b) What is the definition of Equilibrium?
c) What common misunderstanding that most people have about the condition in an Equilibrium "bucket"? Explain.
d) General Definition of Equilibrium constant (K)?
e) Explain what is in the "bucket" at Equilibrium if either i) very large values of K or ii) very small value of K.
f) Explain what Dynamic Equilibrium means in terms of macroscopic (whole system view) observation vs. microscopic observation (individual particle view).
g) Explain why you can "arrow out as 1" of solids and liquids but you can't do that for aqueous (aq) or gas phases.

Side 2 (Equilibrium Constant Expression and solving for K)
Using one of Equilibrium Problems that you completed in either i) Problems for Simple Equilibrium Constant Calculations or Problems on Equilibrium - Revised 2009. Be sure to include:
a) Balanced chemical reaction including phases of each reactant and products.
b) Equilibrium Constant Expression (first including all species), then "arrow out as 1" appropriate phase species.
c) Rewrite Equilibrium Constant Expression just with species that have appropriate phases.
d) Write out the equilibrium concentration (in M) for each species (as a group what is this called).
e) Plug values and units ([ ] are now ( ) ) into Expression and solve for K (including units).
f) Knowing the value of K, explain what you expect to see in the "bucket" when Equilibrium is established.

Side 3 (<nowiki>LeChatlier's Principle</nowiki>)
