Make sure to save 2 -3 pages for future changes in how we do lab write-ups. Then you can start to put both labs in notebook.
2. [[Questions for Molar Volume of a Gas Lab]] - Here is link below to get to this webpage. Sorry did not make copy so you will need to write the questions directly into book. It is not bad since there is only 5 question. PLEASE don't ask Substitute to print it out for you since I don't think they have access.
3. You are also going to be working on Homework and memorizing anion etc to get ready for quiz on Monday. Click on [[Update Naming Compounds]] for condense notes that include all things you need to memorize.
4. Posted Wed Aug 12,2015 at 10:00AM

----
Dear AP Chem Learners
So, if you are reading this message, you are looking for Summer work for AP Chemistry. Sorry, I will be right back, just got sand (from the beach) in my Diet Coke glass and need a fresh one. I am back (to my beach chair and typing a message to you). Sorry again, been too busy this summer to have the summer work ready. Check back to this webpage weekly and I will be posting the summer work in the next week or two.
Updated Mon Aug 8

FYI, the summer work can be broken down into two main section,
1) chemical naming/formula writing for all compounds including molecular, ionic and acid.
2) A boat load of math concepts including stoichiometry, limiting reactant, gas laws etc. I want to get you back into calculating problems etc.

Depending on your speed, figure the summer work will take a couple of hours (2-3) a day for 3-4 days. Memorizing for the compound naming may take a little while.

Ok, enough of this, the tides coming in and I have to move my beach chair. So, enjoy the summer and see you in September (with the summer work done).

Mr. <nowiki>McLeod</nowiki>

-----------------
Information below is for Mr. <nowiki>McLeod</nowiki> and would not really help you for AP Chem

[http://www.duxbury.k12.ma.us Duxbury School Homepage], [http://fc.duxbury.k12.ma.us Duxbury Teacher Email website], [https://ma-duxbury.myfollett.com/aspen/logon.do X2 Portal Sign In Page], [http://tmcleod.org Mr. McLeod's Homepage]

*[[Possible 2015-2016 Syllabus]]
*[https://secure-media.collegeboard.org/digitalServices/pdf/ap/ap-course-overviews/ap-chemistry-course-overview.pdf AP Chemistry course description]

*[[AP Chemistry 6 Big Ideas]]

*[http://aerosol.chem.uci.edu/intranet/files/ACS_style_guide.pdf ACS Style Guide - Writing as Chemists]
Non-Inquiry based 22 labs
*[[List of Labs]] *[[List of Labs - Chemical Ordering]] *[[List of Labs - Equipment Ordering]] *[http://fg.cns.utexas.edu/fg/course_notebook_appendix_ii_files/Spectronic_20_D.pdf Thermo Spectronic 20D+ Operating Manual] (Irving Spec 20) *[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20TpmeaTJho You Tube for Operating Procedures for Thermo Spectronic 20D+]
List of 16 Guided Inquiry Labs
*[[List of 16 Guided Inquiry Labs]] *[[Chemical and Equipment Ordering - 16 Guided Inquiry Labs]] *[https://www.brainscape.com/blog/2015/06/biggest-chemistry-breakthroughs-discoveries/ 5 Biggest Breakthroughs in Chemistry in Last 25 years]

[http://media.collegeboard.com/digitalServices/pdf/ap/ap-chemistry-course-and-exam-description.pdf New AP Chemistry Curriculum Document]
Objectives
*[[Objectives of Naming Compounds]] *[[Objectives of Basic Matter and Math]] *[[Objectives of Gas I ]] *[[Objectives of Thermodynamics]] *[[Objectives of Equilibrium]] *[[Objectives of Acid Base I ]] *[[Objectives for Acid Base II (Buffer, Titration, pH Indicators)]] *[[Objective of Solubility]] Topics
*[[Thermodynamics]] *[[Equilibrium Warmup]] *[[Equilibrium]] *AcidBaseOne
*AcidBaseTwo
*[[Solid Equilibrium - Solubility]]
*[[2015-2016 Labs]]
*[[Electrochemistry]]
*[[Kinetics]] *[[Atomic Structure and Periodic Table]]
*ChemicalBonding Ch8 and 9.1 (Hybridization), Organic (22.1,(no reaction or cyclic alkaline), 22.2 and 22.5 (Table 22.5 Pg1052 of Functional Group), [[Lewis Acid Base and Complexation]] *[[Polarity and Intermolecular Forces (IMF)]]
*[[Solutions]]
*[http://tmcleod.org/cgi-bin/chem1/wiki.cgi?Gases More Gas Concepts] *GasLaws and [[Real Gases and other gas problems]]
*[[2015-2016 AP Exam Info]] *[[AP Guided Lab Review Report]]
*[http://www.learnerator.com/blog/ultimate-study-guide-to-ap-chemistry/?utm_source=sendy&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ultimatechemstudyguide#tab-con-1 Ultimate Guide to AP Chemistry] (website that list all the new standards) *[[Big Ideas and Essential Questions for AP Chem]] *[[Information for End of AP Chem Class]] *[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLllVwaZQkS2op2kDuFifhStNsS49LAxkZ Bozeman Chemistry (AP Chemistry Video Essentials Main Webpage]
