==Copper(II) sulfate==<br> -Copper(II) sulfate is a chemical compound.<br> -It takes the form of white rhombohedral crystals or amorphous powder.<br> -At 650 derees celcius it decomposes to cupric oxide(CuO).<br> -It is fairly soluble in water and when dissolved it forms the pentahydrate, CuSO4* 5H2O.<br> -This pentahydrate can be collected as blue triclinic crystals, aka blue vitriol.<br> -It is used in copperplating, dyeing, wet-cell batteries, in pigments among other things.<br> -It is insoluble in alkali solutions
