CelsiusScale

The Celsius Scale is the temperature scale on which water boils at 100 degrees and freezes at 0 degrees. The interval between 0 and 100 degrees is split into 100 equal parts. Divisions below 0 degrees are said to be negative and are below the freezing point of water. Divisions above 100 degrees are higher than the boiling point of water.

The symbol for the scale is the degree symbol (º) followed by C (ºC). For example a Celsius temperature of 25 would be presented as 25º C.
