      • need { } so that everything in block is done if it is true
      • If line after if statement will be done if statement is true

• Single "=" is , to make equal "==" so a==0
  • Sequential if else statement, action will be take after each else
    • Nested if statement, all statement must be correct to get to action
• Switch statement replaced nested if else statements
