Here is a link to a TED talk session by Brother David Steindl-Rast, a Benedictine monk and interfaith scholar. He is speaking on interconnectiveness of being grateful and being happy.

Once you have finished looking at the video, please do the following; (without talking or sharing with anybody
1. Answer the question below
2. Fold the paper in half so that you can not see your answers
3. Staple the paper shut. You are stapling shut so that no one including your teacher will see it!!!
4. Put your name and period on the outside of the paper and then pass it in to your teacher.


Please answer the following questions:


1. At this current moment in your life, what is the most important issue in your life (or at least in the top 2 or 3). Please write it down in the space below.







2. Now, take as long as you want, but come up with some action to alleviate, or reduce or allow yourself to deal with this issue. Please write down the action in the space below. ( if it is extremely personal then use fragments, or another way so that you only know what it says)









As it says above, fold the paper in half, staple it , put your name and period on it and hand it into your teacher.
