1. What pH did you get for the 1.0M HCl? 1.0M HC2H3O2?
Explain why they were different?

2. What did you get for the pH of 1.0M H2SO4? Using the pH you wrote down for 1.0M HCl in Question 1, explain why they don't have the same pH if they are both 1.0M solution?

3. What pH did you get for the 1.0M NaOH and 1.0 ammonia water (NH4OH solution)? Explain why they were different?

4. What was the pH of the "tap water"? If it was not pH=7.00, what could be in the water that affect the pH of the water? Explain answer.

5. What was the pH of the tap water, Hydration station and Bottled water? Were there any difference in pH? If yes, was it what you expected and does it change what you believed about these "water"?

6. What was the pH of the sugar (sucrose) water? What did you expect it to be? Propose why they are different.

7. What was the pH of the NaCl solution and explain any difference from the pH of the DI water.

8. Write the mathematical equation to calculate the pOH, [H+], [OH-] from the pH.
