For the following (Not Balanced rxn) chemical reaction, do the following:
- Show all the oxidation of each "atom" above it.
- Make the appropriate brackets with Reactant oxidation number ---> product oxidation number, then "lose or gain e-
- Make sure that one bracket is above chemical equation and another below
- Then write down (as described in notes) what is oxidized, reduced, oxidizing agent, reducing agent.
- If no oxidation numbers are changing from reactant to product, write NOT REDOX RXN (but must show oxidization numbers)
1. H2(g) + O2(g) ---> H2O1(g)
2. Zn(s) + Cu1(NO3)2(aq) ---> Zn1(NO3)2(aq) + Cu(s)
3. NaOH(aq) + H2SO4(aq) ---> Na2(SO4)1(aq) + H2O1(l)
