7) Activation energy (Eac) is the minimum amount of energy for a set of reactants to form a set of products (NOT for reaction to begin).

7) Activation energy (Eac) is the minimum amount of energy for a set of reactants to form a set of products (NOT CORRECT TO SAY, "for reaction to begin").

Here are the answers for Questions Associated with General Information on Kinetics

1) Thermodynamics

2a) Rate of reaction (how fast products are made)
2b) Reaction mechanism (how reactants become products)

3) Collision theory, Kinetic Molecular Theory (KMT)
Since Kinetic Molecular Theory states that all substance are composed of particles that are in constant movement and sometimes collide/interact, this is explaining what happens if a collision cause the particle to rearrange/reorganize (called a chemical reaction).

4) Sorry same as Question 2.

5) True actual kinetic information must be made experimentally. Concepts in kinetics do not however.

6) Two reactants that have an Effective collision (EC) cause the chemical reaction to occur and make products.
Two criteria of EC is 1) particles must have the activation energy (Eac) or greater and 2) right spacial orientation (close enough to collide and in right location).

7) Activation energy (Eac) is the minimum amount of energy for a set of reactants to form a set of products (NOT CORRECT TO SAY, "for reaction to begin").

8) Activated complex is when the reactants have collided effectively and they stay all together (both all the particles and all the energy), usually for a brief (billionth of second) second, then form the products.

9) Activation energy

10) Temperature is the average kinetic energy of all the particles in a substance.
