Guy-Lussaic' Law (No Name) Problem Set

Remember, SHOW MATH EQUATION AND VARIABLES FIRST

1. A gas has a pressure of 306kPa and is at a temperature of 135degC. If the volume is held constant, what is the new temperature (K & degC)if the pressure is reduced to 102kPa?

2. At constant volume, a gas has it temperature increased from -9.0degC to 47.3degC, what will the new pressure be if it started at 565mmHg

3. A gas has a pressure of 3.25atm and has a temperature of 105degC. If the volume is held constant, what is the new temperature (K & degC) if the pressure is increased to 9.67atm?

Answer: 1)136K, -137degC 2)685mmHg 3)1125K, 852degC
