1. Write the chemical name from the chemical formula of a molecular cpd (called molecular formula) and visa versa. You will need to memorize the Prefix Table in Naming Molecular Compound handout.

2. Using the Periodic Table (or from memory), be able to determine the symbol and charge of ions that elements from the Periodic Table become as they lose or gain valence electrons. Also, you need to be able to state the name of these ions.
