Dilution Problem Set

1) How many liters of a 0.632M solution do you need to add so that you can make a 4.50L of a 0.125M solution.

2) I have a 325ml of a 0.457M solution. What is the molarity if you increased the volume to 715ml?

3) I made 1.25L of a 1.43M dilute solution. If I initially added in 421ml of the concentrated solution, what was the molarity of this concentrated solution.

Answer: 1)0.890L 2)0.208M 3)4.25M
