Showing revision 13

For the following reversible reactions, first show the Equilibrium Constant Expressions showing all species including their phase. Then show the correct Equilibrium Constant Expression (and all appropriate work to get there).

You already determined the Equilibrium Constant Expression for the following reversible reaction in, [Problems for Equilibrium Expression Problems]. Therefore, just copy Expression including phases to this homework assignment and do all appropriate work to answer problem.

1) 1 N2 (g) + 3 H2 (g) <==> 2 NH3 (g), where [N1H3 (g)]E = 0.0100M, [N2 (g)]E = 0.0200M, [H2 (g)]E = 0.0200M.

2) 2 K1(CLO3)1 (s) <==> 2 K1Cl1 (s) + 3 O2 (g) where [O2 (g)]E = 0.0500M

3) 1 H2O1 (l) <==> 1 H1+(aq) + 1 OH1-(aq), where [H1+]E = 1.0E-8 M, [OH1- ]E = 1.0E-6 M.

4) 2 C1O1 (g) + 1 O2 (g) <==> 2 C1O2 (g)
where [C1O1 (g)]E = 2.0 M, [ O2 (g)]E = 1.50 M, [C1O2 (g)]E = 3.0 M

5) 1 Li2(C1O3)1 (s) <==> 2 Li1+(aq) + 1 C1O32-(aq), where [Li1+]E = 0.20 M , [C1O32+]E = 0.10 M

Answer:
1) K = 625 M-2
2) K = 1.25E-4 M3
