1. Did you directly record the amount of heat given off by the combustion of candle wax? If not, what heat did you directly record?




2. Give me one of your temperature value, _____________, and how do you know if has the correct number of significant figures (sig fig)?




3. If you inadvertently dropped some of the wax before you weighed the candle after burning it, how would that affect the experimental value of the Heat of Combustion of Candle Wax.



4. Why did you need to be sure to raise the temperature of the water as far above room temperature as it's initial water temperature was below room temperature?





5. Why was it so important to have the flame almost touching the base of the can?
