<center><b>Objectives for More Mole Concepts</b></center><br> <b>Essential Questions (EQ2): Are there any basic particles?</b> <br> The student should be able to:<br> <center><b><nowiki>NEED TO CONTINUE TO HAVE POLYATOMIC IONS MEMORIZED AND DIATOMIC ELEMENT (INCLUDING PHASES) FOR TEST</nowiki></b><br></center> 1. Understand the meaning of the subscript in the chemical formula of an ionic cpd and molecular cpd.<b><br> <br> 2. <b>Memorize the seven (7) diatomic elements (H<sub>2</sub>,N<sub>2</sub>,O<sub>2</sub>,F<sub>2</sub>,Cl<sub>2</sub>,Br<sub>2</sub>, and I<sub>2</sub>). Also, there phases.</b><br> <br> 3. Write the chemical name from the chemical formula (or visa versa) for all compounds (molecular, ionic or acids). <br> 6. Calculate Percent Composition problems.<br> 7.
