To solve Gas Law, Avogadro's Hypothesis, Ideal Gas Laws, and Combined Gas Law Problems, follow the steps below:

1. How many conditions in the problem?
*A condition is what you see if you look at a balloon (a gas container). If you then do something to the balloon (for example, increase the gas temp) and now the volume has changed (increased if kept all other parameters constant), you have 2 conditions. The original look of the balloon (Condition 1) and now the new look of the balloon after changing the temperature (Condition 2). 2. What (parameters) is being held constant in the problem?
3. Write down known informations and unknown. (Convert to appropriate units, if necessary)
4. From Steps 1 & 2, determine the correct math equation for this problem. (Only Method I will Except)
5. Plug in known information into equation to solve for unknown parameter. 6. Do math (as per rules you have been following all year)
7. Get answer in correct units & sig fig. Then check answer with general understand of Gas laws.
