Each group will choose an experiment that can be done at home with household chemicals. This lab will focus on one chemical concept that a 1st Year high school chemistry student (in Duxbury, 10th grader) would be studying in this course.

The project components include:

Chemical concept stuff
1. Notes, on computer or handwritten then made into a pdf document

2. A handout of additional notes for students while/after they watch YouTube video.

3. Example of work to solve/explain problem/questions for the chemical concept that is being investigated in the lab

4. A YouTube video of explaining the notes, example of work

5. Homework set with another document with answers (if it math that requires showing work, can put answer at bottom of homework page

6. Another document with 1 - 3 questions that are either multiple choice, true/false or fill in the blank (that I can convert into a Schoology quiz).

Lab Stuff
7. Pre-lab notes that reference above (links via technology).

8. Lab manual document that include #7 above, objective, procedure and explanation of creating data table and any calculation/etc for the lab

9. A YouTube video on lab set-up, safety, etc.

10. A document with 1 -2 questions that are either multiple choice, true/false or fill in the blank (that I can convert into Schoology quiz). This Schoology quiz will be given BEFORE the student starts the lab.

11. A set of quesstions/problems for post lab information that is about the lab, extension from the lab and relating back to notes/work from the chemical concept being studied.

12. Another with 3 -4 questions that are either multiple choice, true/false or fill in the blank (that I can convert into Schoology quiz). This Schoology quiz will be given AFTER the student starts the lab.
