Background Information
3 - Information was concise and clear in framing topic and provided sufficient chemistry underlying information for reader
2 - Information was concise and clear in framing topic but did not provide sufficient chemistry underlying information for reader (or visa versa).
1 - Information was not concise/clear in framing topic AND NOT provide sufficient chemistry underlying information for reader (or visa versa).
0 - Not done

Objective/Purpose and Conclusion
3 - Correctly written purpose and conclusion sufficiently answers purpose
2 - Correctly written purpose but conclusion does not sufficiently answers purpose or visa versa
1 - Incorrectly written purpose and conclusion does not sufficiently answer purpose
0 - not done

Procedure
2 - Correctly written (including complete sentences) and all steps were provided include any Prelab notes.
1 - Not all steps written and/or no Pre-lab notes
0 - Not completed

Data Table (Observations)
3 - Correct sig fig & qualitative observation, proper units used, and well formated table
2 - Correct sig fig & qualitative observations, not proper units used, and/or not well formated table
1 - Incorrect sig fig,
0 - no data table present

Calculations
3 - All work shown correctly including using correct values from data table, correct units on every number and cancelled correctly, 2 more sig fig than in answer for all calculated numbers, correct # of sig fig in answer, and all other requirement from "expected work handout.
2 - No more than 2 mistakes from above requirements.
1 - 3 mistakes from above requirements.
0 - More than 3 mistake from above requirements and/or not done
