I made the Zinc Nitrate solution:
1. First I multiplied .5L and .1M to find out how many moles of solute I needed for 500mL of a .1M solution.
2. I ended up needing .05 moles of solute which I multiplied by the molar mass to find the amount of grams I needed.
3. I needed 14.875g so I weighed it out and put it into a 500 mL beaker.
4. I then filled it to 500mL with DI water and the solute dissolved quickly to produce a clear solution.

Zinc Nitrate is very soluble in water and it produces a gold/yellow precipitate.
