Water to Grape Juice to Milk Lab

Objective:

To observe the affects of changing ph on a pH indicator

Chemical Concepts:

   1. Acids and Bases
   2. Solubility
   3. Precipitates

Materials Needed:

 1.Barium nitrate solution, 8-10 ml 
 2.Sodium bicarbonate, 1 g 
 3.Sodium hydroxide solutions (0.1M), 10 drops 
 4.Sulfuric acid solution (9.0M), 1.5 ml 
 5.Beral-type pipets (5) 
 6.Phenolphthalein (1%), 3-4 drops 
 7.Distilled water, 200 ml
