Procedures
-Set up proper bunsin burner and stand.
-Carefully clamp in test tube before lighting the burner.
-Make sure that the test tube is at an angle and the mouth iis not facing anybody.
-Light the burner, and adjust the flame so that its tip is just below the test tube.
Warning
-Watch the test tube to make sure nothing bubbles over and out. If it starts to reduce heat by
lowering the flame.
-Don't stopper the test tube,
-Be careful, because the test tube will be hot. Handle it with a test tube clamp so that you do
not break the test tube.
-Wear Safety glasses.
