5/13/05
- Today, we were all to make up .1 M aquaeus solutions of a chemical that we picked out during class. My assigned chemical was potassium nitrate (also know as salt petre, salt peter, and niter). The chemical formula for potassium nitrate is KNO3.
5/16/05
- We did a lab in class today. It was using the solutions we had made up last class. The lab procedure involved taking 11 unknown solutions and mixing them in wells. We then took notes on what precipitated and what did not. Using this data, we will later determine which solution was which.
5/18/05
- Everyone was to create a set of instructions and an example problem for an assigned topic today. Mine is molecular formula. I still need to finish my problem, because it involves checking all the math when making it up, but the explainations are done, and I have done a good amount of work for my site page.
