If I collect the hydrogen gas that is produced from completely reacting all 32.5 grams of potassium (assuming excess amount of hydrochloric acid), what is the volume of the container. Assume that the temperature is 103degC and the pressure is 2.41E3 mmHg?

If I collect the hydrogen gas from the above chemical reaction and the hydrogen gas occupied 4.06L at a temperature of 103°C and pressure of 2.41E3 mmHg, how many grams of potassium reacted. Assume all gas was collected, no other chemical reaction occurred and potassium was the limiting reactant.



Potassium metal will react with a hydrochloric acid solution to produce hydrogen gas and an aqueous solution of potassium chloride as described below:

    2 K(s)  +  2 H1Cl1 (aq)  -->  1 H2 (g)  +  2 K1Cl1 (aq)
