1st Semester 20132014 HW Period 6
Essential Question:
Objectives:
Will be doing the last few objectives (11-14) that were not on the last test from
Objectives of Electron Configuration and Atomic Mass - Revised 2008
Wed 11/13 Due: Fri 11/15
Objectives for This Section
Tues 10/29 Due: Thurs 10/31
- Start working on Periodic Trends.
- I will not be lecturing about the Periodic Trends. Instead, you will be listening/writing notes from online lectures as follows.
- You will need to print out the handout, Periodic Trend Notes for Powerpoint and then open the following Powerpoint Presentation, [Periodic Trend Powerpoint Presentation]. Then you will open the following audiofiles one at a time and follow along on the powerpoint presentation while taking notes on the handout. Each audiofiles is about 15minutes long. They are:
Fri 10/18 Due: Tues 10/22

Tues 10/8 Due: Thurs 10/10
Mon 10/7 Due: Tues 10/8 (Posted after, on 10/9)
- Print out Light and Energy Equation Problems. Please do at least 1 problem from the 3 sections of the handout.
- Here are answers to problems, Answers to Light and Energy Equation Problems Remember to look on the 3 handouts you got in class for how to do/show work.
- Note: For all people doing problem by equation, if you get problem that ask to go from the Energy to wavelength ( I call them combined equation problem), I would like you to do solve using both equation separately and DO NOT combine the equation into one big equation)
Fri 10/4 Due: Mon 10/7
Essential Question: Are there any basic skills/theory in the study of chemistry?
