Here are the answers for 2020-2021 HW from Bohr thru Planck and Equations (Non-Math)

1. energy of electron = distance the electron is away from nucleus
Need to draw picture.

2. Atom is at the ground state (all electron in the lowest energy available). Atom absorb a specific amount of energy that allows the electron to absorb this energy ad it will jump to a higher energy level (atom is now in excited state). Instantaneously, the electron fall back down to the original lower energy level (atom is back in the ground state) releasing (called emitted) the exact amount of energy that was originally absorbed.

3. The part of Bohr's theory that is incorrect is that electrons do not revolve around the nucleus like planets around the sun (specific orbit).

4. Bohr's atomic model is often called Planetary Model since it assumes electrons revolve around the nucleus in specific distance from nucleus like planets around the Sun.

5. Planck (and other scientist including Einstein, Bohr, etc) said energy/light/electrons act like a discrete particle that he said quanta.

6. DeBroglie says that energy/light/electrons can act like a particle AND a wave at the same time.

7. E is inversely proportion to lambda (wavelength), E is directly proportion with frequency (f), wavelength (lambda) is inversely proportion to frequency (f)

8. Light equation: c = (lambda)(f), c = 3.00E8 m*Hz

Energy equation: E = (h)(f), h = 6.60E-34J/Hz

9. Infrared, R (700nm) O Y G B I V (400nm), Ultraviolet
