Answer the following problems showing all appropriate work (may need to use additional/separate sheets of paper). Remember, you need to at least paraphrase question in shown work.

1) Using the balanced chemical reaction below, how many moles of Cu was produced if 31.5 moles of C1O2 was also produced?

2 Cu1O1(s) + 1 C(s) --> 2 Cu(s) + 1 C1O2(g)

2) Using the balanced chemical reaction above, how many grams of Copper (II) oxide, Cu1O1 do I need to react to produce 3.23 moles of Cu (Copper as an element)?

3) Using the balanced chemical reaction below for the burning of sucrose (a type of sugar), how many mole of H2O1 do I get if I react 143g of O2 (elemental form of oxygen)?

 1 C12H22O11(s)  + 12 O2(g)   ---> 12 C1O2(g)  + 11 H2O1(g)

4) Using the balanced chemical reaction above, how many moles of sucrose, C12H22O11 do I react if I want to produce 3.15 moles of Carbon dioxide (C1O2) ?

Answers:
1) 63.0 mole Cu
2) 258g Cu1O1
3) 4.10 mole H2O1
4) 0.263 mole C12H22O11
