This video deals with the fact that student sometimes come with preconceived notion of concepts that are hard to change. Even with direct intervention, they sometimes still hold to their preconceived notions.
It is interesting that the"bright kid" still want to use indirect light as light bouncing off something instead of simply be diffuse. i think we have misconception of the season since being closer to a hot thing mean we feel hotter and further away we feel colder. Why would this not also be correct with the season. We don't see or feel the tilt of the earth so that it is really hard to justify that this is the really reason for the seasons. I understand (and most likely also explain something incorrectly) why they do have these misconceptions.
