These are answers to Basic Particles and How Atoms Group Together.
1) b
2a) "Ionic bond"
2b) One atom has a significantly stronger/larger attractive (Coulombic) force to both atoms valence electron than the other atom.
2c) Anion (negatively charged ion since it is taking both atom valence electrons, ve-) and cation (positively charged ion since it is lost/give off it valence electrons).
3) a) sharing ve- - covalent bond and b) all atoms lose ve- creating cations and their "sea of free flowing ve-)
4) Covalent bond
5) Molecule (actually there are two name, the other type we will deal with in another section)
6) Metal and non-metal
7) Rule of Eight (in other words, they want a full "outer energy shell")
8) After "bonding" (movement of ve-), all "atoms" need eight ve- around them except H (2ve-), Be (4ve-), B (6ve-) and element in 3rd energy level or greater can have greater than eight.
9) C
10) ΔEN>=1.7 is Ionic bond, ΔEN<1.7 is Covalent bond
