1. Plug firewire into computer side (only port works)
2. Turn on & hold down option key
3. Choose Tiger (need to watch until watch becomes arrow), click ==> key
- At this point , we want laptop to boot off of master drive
- a. Skip error.
- b. Can do time now
4. Open Netrestore program by clicking icon (at bottom, 3rd from left)
- a. Drag scienceibook.dmg into source box (line)
- b. Check restart when finished
- c. Check set is boot disk (actually bottom two boxes)
- d. Target should be MacHD. Making sure that we erase laptop drive not master drive
- e. Unlock with password (MacInTosh)
- f. Press restore
At this point we log in as Admin (Z=18). All lower case.
1. Go into Apple menu system prev.
2. Click Sharing and computer name to Number on bottom of laptop (i.e. ibook2018)
3. Check for wireless.
4. Logout as Admin
5. Login under Duxbury symbol (no password so it will automatically connect)
6. Launch one program (e.g. Word)
7. Shutdown
