1. Make sure all classes' grades are updated and saved.
2. Create a new folder under C:/MTG/0607 with date of republishing (i.e. Done on March 3, 2007, then my folder will be C:/MTG/0607/030307. Then put the following files into this folder:
- mtgprefs.ini
- mtgprefs.res
- pinApplet.class
(copy from one of the other folders)
3. Generate from the html files for each class by clicking, File, then Export Student Data, then The Web ePublisher Grouped Homepage Document
- Do use PIN numbers
- Chronological list of assignments
- Every Student
- Percentage and grades equivalent for entire term
- Can put in email address for parents/students to contact (this is the statement at bottom of each page of list of grades)
- Add in as many classes as you like (must updated each class before starting this, make sure you have PINs)
Computer will ask you if realize that you maybe getting rid of already existing files, you say yes. Then put them into the new folder you created above (date of republishing).
- Computer will generate all the html documents needed including the most important one, classes.html
- Now you should have a folder with all these html files and the files from Step 1.
4. Now you simply import that whole folder into the website under public.html, then 0607 folder. (therefore you will be creating several of these folders over a term.)
5. Final step, go to the webpage and change the wiki code so it points to the new folder and the file classes.html.
