Objective: You will be making a Poster and a set of phrases (or sentences) so that you can memorize either a) the list of subenergy levels (and their orbitals) from closest to one furthest from nucleus or b) Rules for filling electrons into subenergy levels/orbitals.
Directions:
- You will come up with a phrase or sentence that you will use to help you (a mnemonic device) memorize the rules for ordering the subenergy/orbital levels from the one closest to the nucleus to the farther subenergy/orbital level.
- Then you will draw a picture of your mnemonic device and then complete the information below (and staple it to the picture).
Grading:
- We will be using the 3 rubrics: DHS Acquire, Integrate and Apply Information Rubric, DHS Collaboration Rubric, DHS Personal Social & Civic Responsibility Rubric (attache sheet) and the Poster Project checklist below.
