Question For Vapor Pressure Lab - Revised 2015

Questions
2014-2015 We removed Xylene as one of the chemicals that we investigated.

1) What lab observation did you use to represent vapor pressure of the liquid ( Pvap)?

2) In your lab, you used a container of water (on a hot plate) to give the two liquid energy as opposed to use a bunsen burner. Why do you think you did that?

3) Before you performed the lab, you determined the molecular polarity of each of the two substance. From that knowledge rank the substances for, strength of IMF, number of vapor particles in the gas, Pvap, order of boiling point from lowest to highest.

4) How did your "theoretical evidence" in Question 3 compare to your actual experimental results and justify your answer.
