Sub Plan for Mr. McLeod, Wed October 27
(Periods: 4,5,6,7,1)
Prep period: Period 6 (but have an independent study during that Period)
Period 4 & 5 (AP Chem and Lab): Seating plan: they can sit anywhere, ask them who is not there
Absent:
(Period 5 I lose Kate Dennison and have a Student Aide (Kevin)
- For Period 4, give them the 2 handouts and tell them to do Pg644 #71, 82 to the students.
- They can work together to figure the AP problems. Tell them that each problem set should take them 20minutes maximum (that is time limit expect on the AP exam)
- The answer book is where the other AP stuff is located. They know where that is.
- If they get done early, they can work on completing calculations for Molar Volume of Gas Lab
- During Period 4, have one of the other students teach Kate how to put together the computer. I have left a computer and stuff in front of my desktop computer.
- Period 5, Kevin will take over class and help the students do the lab (he is very capable & trustworthy). Kevin will need to get the computer from Mr. Kelly
Period 6, Kate will do the lab herself. She is just using room air in the lab.
If anyone is done early with the lab, they can work on lab write-ups for these labs.
HW: Complete the 3 problem sets as best as possible
Period 7: see Seating Chart
Absent:
1. There are some students that were not given a quiz. Please hand them out to the appropriate students. Let them spend 5minutes looking at their mistakes.
2. Have them put away all work except for their folders and a calculator. Hand out the Quiz (everybody takes it). When done collect the quizzes.
3. Rest of class, let them work on the two homework assignments. If anyone is finished with the 2 assignments,
they can start writing up the flame test lab as a Formal lab in their lab books (they know where lab books are stored).

Absent:
See Period 7 for inclass and HW. The only exception is that Period 1 already has been given the previous quiz so you can give the new quiz right away.
