Difference (from revision 6 to current revision)
(minor diff, author diff)
(The revisions are identical or unavailable.)
Below are links to two You Tube videos I want you to watch that will give you information on Enthalpy and Calorimetry.
Enthalpy(2017-2018 1st Year Chem328 Learners do not watch this video on Enthalpy)
- Watch and take notes on this You Tube video, ([Crash Course Chemistry You Tube Video on Enthalpy]).
- Stop about 6-7minutes into video, when he starts talking about Hess' Law.
- You will not be responsible for understanding deltaE (internal energy) but you still need to add to notes because it part of the overall discussion.
Calorimetry
- Watch and take notes on this You Tube video, ([Crash Course Chemistry You Tube Video on Calorimetry]).
- In the equation, he use s for specific heat capacity. We will be using c instead. So make sure you make that correction in your notes.
- Stop about 9 minutes into video, when he starts calculating heat of reaction thru Hess' Law and Standard heat of formations.
