Answer the following problems showing all work as discussed in class/notes. You can use either Dimensional Analysis Notes or Set-up for Equations Notes.

You can not show all appropriate work to answer this problems in the space between these questions. So will do these calculation on a separate sheet of paper with no more than 3 questions per page (a page is front and back).

1 Remy that curious cat walks at 5.47 m/s. How long (in hrs) will it take him to walk 40.20 miles? ( 0.625mile = 1.00Km )

2. Principal Stephens says he can eat 2.00 hamburger in 1.00 min. How many days will it take him to eat 5.320E3 hamburgers?

3. Kermet the Frog was driving down the rode at 28.3 km/hr. How fast is he going in mm/min?

4. Assistant Principal Talbot gave detention to 32 students in 11 weeks. What is that rate in students/days (it is OK to have a decimal of a student in answer. Assume there are 5 days in 1 week)?

5. Fenway eats 0.310 g of cat food in 96.2 min. If he continuously eats for 1.26 days (a real possibility if know you Fenway), how many pounds of cat food did he consume. (1 lb = 454g).

Answer: 1) 3.27hrs, 2) 1.85 days, 3) 4.72E5 mm/min, 4) 0.58 students/day, 5) 0.0129 lbs
