Add 1/2 teaspoon of barium hydroxide to a 100 ml beaker. Make (record) observation of chemical.
2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of ammonium chloride to this beaker. Make (record) observation of chemical before adding.
3. Using a large stirring rod, stir until reaction stops. Record observation as you are stirring. Make sure to feel the bottom of the beaker.
4. Clean-up: Dilute all material in the beaker and pour down sink.
