Obtain graph paper, pencil & ruler<br> 2. Graph Time (x-axis) vs. Temperature (y-axis)<br> 3. Make sure to:<br> *Align the graph paper vertical with y-axis on the long axis *Label axes, title *Mark ("x" or ".") each data point *Assume a linear relationship (i.e. a line) & draw the "best fit" line for this data. * Determine the y=mx+b for the line , m is slope to be determined by 2-point method, b is the y-intercept. <br> <b>To determine a "best fit" line:</b><br> 1. Draw a line (lightly)<br> 2. Determine the distance from the line to each point below the line.<br> 3. Sum all the distance to get the total distance of all points below the line.<br> 4. Do the same for all the points above the line.<br> 5. The two total distances should be almost the same.<br> 6. If not, repeat above process until it does.<br> 7.
