New section of <nowiki>IC</nowiki>, (<nowiki>IC</nowiki> with cations with more than one charge)<b>(Part of Objective 5)</b><br> <br> <u><b>Classroom <nowiki>Assignments/Activities</nowiki></b></u><br> 1) Do Prelab and start lab (unusual, I have set-up lab & preweighed)(<b>Objective a</b>) **<i>This is a long lab that requires alot of heating and weighing so need max time</i> **<i>Alot of standing around time so will go back and forth between lab and classroom</i> 2)Check homework, student check answer from board and go over any questions, no assessment for these concepts<br> **<i>Depending on how long this takes, could have students go back into lab **I will check homework while students are doing the 1st heating</i> 3)During this time, I will give out handout for New section of <nowiki>IC</nowiki><br> *This section is (<nowiki>IC</nowiki> with cations with more than one charge)<b>(Objective b)</b> **<i> Will not go over, the handout is designed as lecture notes, example and a set of homework assignments</i> **<i>Again, depending on timing, could stop here and have them back in lab</i> 4)Notes and lecture on Empirical Formula <b>(Objective a)</b><br> *Will have notes on board on steps/procedures for doing Empirical formula *Go over what Empirical formula means and procedures including example **<i>Notes will be on board unless I have time to make up a new handout</i> **<i>Again, depending on timing, could stop part way thru and have them back in lab</i> 5)Finish lab and make sure students know homework<br> <u><b>Homework</b></u><br> 1) Complete Empirical formula homework handout<br> 2) Complete Homework from <nowiki>IC</nowiki> with cations with more than one charge handout<br> 3) Do calculations for lab only (do not formal lab write-up)<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
