On piece of weighing paper, mass out solute.
2. Usi.
3. Add in approximately 1/4 - 1/2 DI water (from teacher) to the Volumetric flask.
4. Using weighing paper as funnel, add in the solid solute (do not loss any solid during transfer)
5. Get Magnetic stirrer (and stirring rod) andSwirl bottle to dissolve solid.
6. Once all solid is dissolved, add water until reach desired liquid level on Volumetric Flask.
7. Put on magnetic stirrer again for final stirring.
8. Write out label (using label tape) with:
a. All students initials
b. Period
c. Date
d. Amounts of solute (with chemical symbol), and solution
9. Place tape on 500mL plastic container. 10. Pour your solution into the 500mL container. (there may be some solution that you can't fit in 500.mL solution, so put in sink.

Make a Molarity Solution Lab

Calculation Page

Page 2 With Dilution

Your name:
Period:
Group Members:
Group Number/letter:

Question
Determine the volume of the _____________ M (concentrated solution) you need to dilute to get 500mL of _______M (diluted solution).
