Answer the following questions showing all work.

1) How many moles of Sodium chloride (Na1Cl1) do you have if you a volume of 2.50L of a 0.470M Na1Cl1 solution?

2) What is the volume of a solution ( in L ) if a solution has 3.20 mole of the solute and has a Molarity of 0.750M ?

3) How many moles of Sodium carbonate (Na2(C1O3)1) do you have if you a volume of 375mL of a 0.139M Na2(C1O3)1 solution?

4) What is the volume ( in mL) of a 0.719M Barium chloride (Ba1Cl2) solution that 1.40 mole of Ba1Cl2 dissolved in it? Remember 1.0L = 1000.mL

Answers:

1) 1.18 moles Na1Cl1
2) 4.27 L of the solution
3) 0.0521 moles Na2(C1O3)1
4) 195mL of the Ba1Cl2 solution
