Answer the following problems showing all work.

1) I reacted 21.5g of ammonia gas (NH3 (g)) with excess Nitrogen monoxide. After the below reaction stopped, I had collected 37.1g of Nitrogen gas (N2 (g)).

4 NH3 (g) + 6 NO(g) --> 5 N2 (g) + 6 H2O(g)

a) What is the stoichiometric yield of Nitrogen gas.

b) What is the Percent Yield of Nitrogen gas? (Round to 1st decimal place for percent yield answer).

2) If one adds 4.25g Copper (I) oxide (CuO) to excess Carbon so the following will go to completion. It was found that 0.667g of Carbon dioxide was actually produce from the following chemical reaction.

2 CuO(s) + 1 C(s) --> 2 Cu(s) + 1 CO2(g)
a) What is the stoichiometric yield of Carbon ( C )?

b) What is the Percent yield of Carbon (Round to 1st decimal place for percent yield answer)?

Answer:
1a) 44.3g N2
1b) 83.4% N2
2a) 1.17g C
2b) 57.1% C
