Steps to Solving mass-mass problems:

#Change the mass of teh substance given in the statement of the problem to moles.
#Change from "moles of the substance given" to "moles of the substance sought."
#Change from "moles of the substance sought" to "mass of teh substance sought."

Mass-Mass Problem- the mass of one substance is taking part in a chemical reaction is given, and that problem asks you to find the mass of another substance taking part in the reaction.

Steps to Solving mass-mass problems:

  1. Change the mass of teh substance given in the statement of the problem to moles.
  2. Change from "moles of the substance given" to "moles of the substance sought."
  3. Change from "moles of the substance sought" to "mass of teh substance sought."
