A solubility curve shows how much solute will dissolve in a given amount of solvent over a range of temperatures.

For the solubility curve above Water is the solvent. Each curve represents a different solute. As you can see most salts increase in solubility as temperature increases. Those solutes that are gases decrease in solubility as the temperature increases.
