Precipitation Lab
Today I made a 0.1M solution of Barium chloride.
Xmol/0.500L=0.1
X=0.05mol
0.05=X/244.27g/mol
X=12.2135g
I added the 12.213g of Barium chloride to 500ml of water which produced a 0.1 solution od Barium chloride, a clear solution which did not require a heating device to dissolve the Barium chloride.

Today I worked with Mark and Greg to complete the percipitation lab.

Today in class I made a solution of 6.25g NaCl? in 500ml of H2O; a solution of 12.5g NaCl? in 500ml of H2O; and a solution of 3 drops of green food coloring in 500ml of H2O.
