Objectives
1) To present the concept of Empirical Formula thru notes and a lab
2) To continue the concept of Ionic Compound naming. New section of IC, (IC with cations with more than one charge)

Classroom Assignments/Activities
1) Do Prelab - go over lab with students (unusual for this lab, I have set-up lab & preweighed)(Objective 1)

• This is a long lab that requires alot of heating and weighing so need max time
• Alot of standing around time so will use it to check/go over homework and give notes/lecture on Empirical Formula
