AP Lab Questions

Fri 9/18 I am not here today so here is class work (also put it on Schoology). If don't have access ask substitute for code, I send it thru Aesop to them). Not a big deal if don't get it since I also stated the work below.
</b>
Agenda

1..Lab Notebook - Cut and tape into Lab notebook the Lab Notebook handout and Formal Lab Note handout. Make sure to save 2 -3 pages for future changes in how we do lab write-ups. Then you can start to put both labs in notebook.

2. Questions for Molar Volume of a Gas Lab - Here is link below to get to this webpage. Sorry did not make copy so you will need to write the questions directly into book. It is not bad since there is only 5 question. PLEASE don't ask Substitute to print it out for you since I don't think they have access.

3. You are also going to be working on Homework and memorizing anion etc to get ready for quiz on Monday. Click on Update Naming Compounds for condense notes that include all things you need to memorize.

4. Work on finishing Homework Sets for this section.

Above work will keep you busy the whole period and beyond.

Here is summer work, Updated 2015 Summer Work. Posted Wed Aug 12,2015 at 10:00AM

Dear AP Chem Learners

So, if you are reading this message, you are looking for Summer work for AP Chemistry. Sorry, I will be right back, just got sand (from the beach) in my Diet Coke glass and need a fresh one. I am back (to my beach chair and typing a message to you). Sorry again, been too busy this summer to have the summer work ready. Check back to this webpage weekly and I will be posting the summer work in the next week or two.
Updated Mon Aug 8

FYI, the summer work can be broken down into two main section,
1) chemical naming/formula writing for all compounds including molecular, ionic and acid.
2) A boat load of math concepts including stoichiometry, limiting reactant, gas laws etc. I want to get you back into calculating problems etc.

Depending on your speed, figure the summer work will take a couple of hours (2-3) a day for 3-4 days. Memorizing for the compound naming may take a little while.

Ok, enough of this, the tides coming in and I have to move my beach chair. So, enjoy the summer and see you in September (with the summer work done).
