Per AP Chem Curriculum, the only memorizing of Solubility rules are :
- Essential Knowledge - TRA-2.A.5, Precipitation reactions frequently involve mixing ions in aqueous solution to produce insoluble or sparingly soluble ionic compounds. All sodium, potassium, ammonium, and nitrate salts are soluble in water.
- Rote Memorization of "Solubility Rules" other than those implied in TRA-2.A.5 (see above) will NOT be assessed on AP Exam.
